Defend the Base! Ehehe, who wants to play UT'99
Some flies having a yummy nectar meal from a thistle.
Photoshop for cropping, color correction, unsharp mask, manual scratch and dust touch up and frame.
Noiseware adaptive FFT filter to reduce noise.
I was a bit surprised about the sharpness of the image: it's a 400 ASA slide film with the old Mikro Nikkor (well, the macro lenses from Nikon really ever rocked...however, their other lenses were/are not too good). The shown part of the negative is 24 mm each edge. The processing sharpened it a bit and removed the grain very well while leaving most of the details untouched. I find it really surprizingly good in comparison to the Nikon D100 DSLR...maybe even a 400 ASA film is sharper than a 6 Mpixel cam So, what is your opinion, better than 6 Mpix or not? Please tell me!

Nikon FE with Fuji RH (= Sensia 400)
