Still not he major breakthrough yet, but I managed to adapt an old 50mm lens reversed to the compact cam (Lumix DMC-FX10). I have been pretty pleased about what this cam can do but as I like macro very much, I had the urge to put a lens in front of it as long as I can't afford a real DSLR. I'm stunned by the results of that silly adapter. Unfortunately it can't photograph itself lol, so I can't yet provide an image of that piece of engineering of mine . First test shots were made on a clematis flower. Look how sharp it is (actually I applied a small very blur after doing a large scale unsharp mask for contrast enhance on some images) and note the exposure times - the shots are freehand with wind! Optical camera zoom is mostly at maximum, I'm lucky that my adaptor puts the lens so close in fromt of the built in lens, that I can zoom out a little bit also, without getting distortion or vignetting .
I might get more active again now . ...and I always seem to get the most favorites on images that I consider to be not so good. And vice versa Oo .
